Grandson E Turns Three

Okay, this post is very, very late!  Grandson E turned three on January 15th and I am just now posting it!  I feel really terrible for waiting to post his birthday!  I will not make excuses because it does not change the fact I missed the date! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDSON E!! YOU ARE A BLESSING TO OUR FAMILY. PAWPAW AND I LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH! HAPPY THREE! LOVE, MAMMI (I have pictures of his birthday I will post when I get to my computer!)

A Bit of Free Time...Sort of

I have a bit of free time before I need to fix supper, so I decided to post a couple of things I have been working.  Sometimes sympathy cards are hard to create.  I want to send something special, but with the person in mind.    This is a card I made in a card club.  Kathy , you are the best demonstrator! Your group loves you!  This will be Son #1's card for this year... ...he is turning 30 in February! (no spoilers here, he NEVER reads my blog!) This is the card I created for Grandson E's birthday.  It is one of the new sets from the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog. I thought this fit our family perfect since we still have nine of the fourteen children living at home!  This card was created from an idea I had seen on Jan Tink's blog .  This is my ministry card for the month.  So far I have 43 of these made.  I have 15 more to finish. I am thinking I may have already posted this one previously. I love the brayer-ing technique! (Thank

Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration

I love to create.  I love creating cards, and my favorite company to purchase my products from is Stampin' Up!  I have two Stampin' Up! workshops a year.  When the new annual catalog comes out and during Sale-A-Bration.  SAB is the best time to earn product.  For every $50 purchase, before tax/shipping, you earn a free item out of their SAB catalog.  LOVE IT!  (want to learn more...go to www.stampinup.com .)  Also about twice a year they have an Occasions catalog that comes out.  These sets are sort of centered around specific holidays/seasons and are only available for a limited time, but so worth waiting for!!!!  Today the new Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration catalogs were available to order from.  What better way to start off the New Year than with a workshop.  So tonight I hosted a workshop.  Look at these awesome cards we made!   Both cards were made with stamps from the new Occasions catalog.  I had 7 lovely ladies in attendance and we had fun!    "Love
