Psalm 145:1-5
1) I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name forever and ever.
2) Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name forever and ever.
3) Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
4) One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
5) I will speak of the glorious honor of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
Life is...well life. Some days are wonderful, and some not so wonderful. Some days, it seems, would be better spent in bed, hiding under the covers. But it would not change the circumstances.
God has been so good to our family. We are going on six months with no job or income. But God has not forgotten us. He, in His timing {which is always the perfect timing}, gives us what we need. From time to time Hubby is able to pick up an "odd" job--for exactly what is needed. Sometimes God has used someone to bless us financially for exactly what is needed. Bags of food brought to our home or left on the porch. He has protected our family from illness. We have had colds, a sour tummy or two, and I had a sinus infection. But the Great Physician took us through it.
The point is, God is good all the time, and all the time God is good! He is unchangeable.
He has the best interest in mind for our family--all 13 of us living under one roof. Our eyes need to stay focused on Him and not the situation. He has not failed us. What we are going through has nothing to do with us, but it is ALL ABOUT HIM! My children are experiencing first had the greatness of our Mighty God. One day, if the Lord tarries in His coming, they will be able to "declare thy mighty acts".
Praying for you guys, Aunt "twin" Love you!
