A December Birthday

I can not believe that today our baby girl, Daughter #7, turns nine!  It seems like it yesterday this tiny, 31 1/2 week premature baby came into our lives.  I spent just shy of two months on bed rest with her between home and hospital.

Daughter #7 is probably the most dramatic of all our daughters.  Not a drama queen, but a funny dramatic!  Sometimes we wonder where she comes up with her wit and drama, then we look at the great teachers she has had in her life! 

Daughter #7 is not only the youngest daughter, but the youngest child.  She is the daughter that has played with her baby dolls longer than the other girls, probably because she has not "grown-up" with a baby in the house.  Nieces and nephews are great, but they do not live here all the time.

    Oh, I hope your celebration of your daughter's birthday was terrific and blessed! I'm sure you all rejoice in the wonderful gifts of family that you have been given by our generous Lord Jesus and it shows in your love for them. I wish we were next door neighbors :)
    May you have a wonderful blessed CHRISTmas as you worship the coming of our Savior. We were just talking about that He didn't despise coming as a baby in the likeness of men. How amazing is that!!??

Life....

Busy.  That seems to describe life in our home.  Just day to day busy.  Nothing really noteworthy.  Life moves on.   Let me think, since I last posted.... well, let me back up to about a month before my last post.  Daughter #6 got married in October of 2022...today Son #7 got married.  So, I have gained another son and another daughter! Our youngest graduated from high school in May and our oldest grandchild graduated the following day!  From our oldest child to our youngest, we have 33 years of education. (I'm tired just thinking about it!!) Still only 13 grandchildren.  Hubby is still in education.  I keep things going on the home front.  I help out the families where and when needed.  I still make cards for the card ministry that I have been doing for 19 years.  I still crochet.   That about sums up life at this point.  Have a wonderful day!

Newest Grandbaby

  The newest member to join the Chilson Family!   Grandson K  April 21, 2013 8 pounds 14 ounces 21 1/4 inches long Proud parents for the very first time are Son #3 and Daughter-in-love #3   EDIT NOTED: This page was edited on 12/31/13 with names and photo removed.  It was brought to my attention by a DIL. Originally I had given names ONLY because full names are used on their Facebook page. Forgive me for being "stupid".   Excited to have a new little one to love on and watch become a personality all his own!
