I promised I would blog some pictures so let me see what I can do before the computer decides to have a mind of its own!

This picture was taken at the homeschool convention we attended in March of this year.  Son #7 wanted his picture taken with the author of the book he is holding "Leonard's Socks".  Son read the book from the library but wanted an autograph copy of  his own.  We have found him several times reading instead of sleeping!

Son #7 sharing the lime light with big sister, Daughter #4.  These pictures are all from Son #7's camera.  One of our big guys gave him their camera and he is loving it!

Daughter #3 on her 19th birthday, March 7, 2014.

Daughter #2 on her 22nd birthday, September 19, 2014.

Son #4  and #6 playing at Chuck E. Cheese..."where a kid can be a kid"...guess when you are 24 and 16 you are still considered a kid at CEC!  (this is where Granddaughter J celebrated her third birthday)
Daughter #7 (9) and Grandson P (9) share a "roller coaster virtual ride" at CEC.
Grandson A (6) at CEC.
Granddaughter A (6) with Chuck E. Cheese
The birthday girl!  Granddaughter J (3) with her momma.

Son #5 celebrating his 18th birthday, October 24, 2014.
(you ask, "why is there a 1 7 1 candles on his cake?"  Simple,
someone-me-forgot to pick up an "8" candle.  So we combined to
make "18" the poor man's way! Called making do! :) )
Grandson C (2) taking a nap.
Daughter #6 (13) letting Son #7 experiment with his camera
and a lens from a telescope.  (he is my creative thinker...I think she
is practicing her serious face here)

Grandson K (19 months)
This is just part of our little family.  It is so hard to get pictures of every one.  It is kind of fun going through the computer and looking at pictures.

  1. Oh, my goodness! How wonderful to see so many photos of your precious family :) You are indeed blessed. Are you staying warm and in the Word? Sending love your way! Grace and peace to you all :)

My Mother's Gentle Love

My Mother's Gentle Love
by Ron Hamilton
Who puts a band-aid on my knee?
Who holds me close so tenderly?
Who always sees the best in me?
There’s no one like mother.

Who always wipes my tears away?
Who tells me I’ll be great some day?
Who cares in such a gentle way?
There’s no one like mother.

My mother’s gentle love, my mother’s gentle love
Has taught me of God’s tender care, and turned my eyes above.
I’ll bless her all my days for all her gentle ways.
Oh, how I thank my Lord above for my mother’s gentle love.

Today is my mother's viewing, and tomorrow is her funeral.  The song above so much describes my mom.  She loved her four children so very much!  Before she had children, she was a nurse for "special care" babies~~"old" term for NICU.  Once she started having children she gave up her career to stay at home and raise her own babies. Thanks, Mom!

Thank you, Daddy, for allowing Mom to stay at home and raise us four children!

Graduation 2017 Post

Finally, here are pictures from Son #6 and Daughter #5's graduation.  I finally figured out what I was doing wrong downloading pictures!!

Sad Turned Happy

Six years ago today my family's heart was broken by the death of my mother.  Today turned happy because Grandbaby number 11 was born!  Grandson W was born at 12:38 pm, weighing 8 pounds 15 ounces, and 22 1/2 inches long!  Daughter #1 and babe are doing well!!!!! (pictures will follow later once the parents have a chance to brag on their own!!!)
