Back in February or so a friend asked me if I wanted to share a table with her at a craft fair. She had never tried selling some of her paper goods and tea cup candle holders before and thought it would be fun. So I decided to do it. I had so many good intentions to get a "zillion" items crafted. But you know the best laid plans NEVER go as planned. I had so many things on my plate and ended up not getting as much crafted as I would have liked.
Below are some of the cards I created to sell. I made at least four of each card. The lemon card was one that I created for a friend, so this was the one and only of it. All stamped images are Stampin' Up! stamps along with almost all the paper. One or two scraps came from my scrap box that may have come from a big box store.
I also made a several tags. However, I see only two are posted. Not sure what happened to the others. Most of the tags did sell. I made several note books also, and they were great sellers. But I noticed I did not get a picture of them.
The day of the fair was NOT a good day to sell. We were inside a church basement on a BEAUTIFUL Saturday. We also had a competition with the Mini-Marathon down town. I did fairly well, made more than I spent on supplies.
My friend and I had a good time even though our sales were not high for the day. Sometimes that is more important. We both walked away with memories and a cards ready to use for our card ministries at church. She decided that she probably would not do another craft fair again and just create for the ministry.
You do such a beautiful job!! I am honored to have received some of your cards!!
