Funny...Or Not....

This morning I was feeling a little winded and such after doing some laundry, so I decided to check my blood pressure...something I have not done in a long time.  My blood pressure was 151/89.  Not sure if that is high or "what", I put the numbers in my phone to check.  It's "HIGH-NORMAL"...okay, I need to work on that.

I continued scrolling down on the screen to read more on the upper and lower values of blood pressure and I came across an advertisement.......for Batesville Monument with a picture of a grave headstone.  I am thinking...NOT FUNNY!

Now my heart is pounding, I am having a hard time catching my breath, and I feel all around awful!  Anxiety?....you bet!  This was not a way to start my day!

So.....I am going to have to make some changes....not sure what to do, but something has got to change!!!!!

  1. Hopefully your shortness of breath is just anxiety. It can be a symptom of heart problems. Do see a Dr if it isn't better.

  2. I am sorry. I will add your health to my prayers. I hope all else is well (the schoolers going to school, yet? and such)

My Mother's Gentle Love

My Mother's Gentle Love
by Ron Hamilton
Who puts a band-aid on my knee?
Who holds me close so tenderly?
Who always sees the best in me?
There’s no one like mother.

Who always wipes my tears away?
Who tells me I’ll be great some day?
Who cares in such a gentle way?
There’s no one like mother.

My mother’s gentle love, my mother’s gentle love
Has taught me of God’s tender care, and turned my eyes above.
I’ll bless her all my days for all her gentle ways.
Oh, how I thank my Lord above for my mother’s gentle love.

Today is my mother's viewing, and tomorrow is her funeral.  The song above so much describes my mom.  She loved her four children so very much!  Before she had children, she was a nurse for "special care" babies~~"old" term for NICU.  Once she started having children she gave up her career to stay at home and raise her own babies. Thanks, Mom!

Thank you, Daddy, for allowing Mom to stay at home and raise us four children!
