"He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength."
"Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:"
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
Isaiah 40:28-31
Yesterday afternoon I was burdened with more than I thought my heart could carry. Dear hubby reminded me that I needed to give my burden over to God and let Him carry it. So quietly I had to ask God to forgive me for trying to carry something that actually belonged to Him. This was brought "home" a second time during church last night. Our text was in Genesis where Abraham and Isaac were going to Mt. Moriah to sacrifice. Abraham's faith in God was so strong that he was willing to do exactly what God had asked. You can read the account of his faith in Genesis chapter twenty- two.
