Busy, Busy, Busy!

Where has the time gone?  Oh, I know...I've been sick!  Funny how time runs together when Momma is not on top of the game!  About a week ago I woke up really dizzy.  I was in bed almost all day on the first day.  I think I saw about 3 1/2 - 4 hours out of twenty-four!  The following days were a bit better, but I still have to be careful how I move my head.  I thought at first it was because the day before we FINALLY WENT TO THE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM!!!!!! {So much fun!!!}  I went on the carousel twice!  Okay, I stood next to out 6 year old as she "rode" the horse and then the tiger!  But now I'm not sure...maybe the "bubble" in my head is
off! ;-)    You can read more about our adventure by going to my daughter's blog.
I thought I would share a couple of pictures.  These two pictures are from Christmas Eve.   The first is of our seven daughters.  The second is the girls with the two sister-in-laws.  However, you marry into this family, you are FAMILY!  We only use the 'in-law' when people are trying to make the connection of who is who!   They had so much fun posing for the pictures!  It is loud when we all get together, but we have so much fun!
Momma and her girls!

Daughters x 9!

It is snowing again today!  We have about another 3 inches or so.  I think we are only suppose to get about four inches.  I told the scholars last night that if the public school calls off school because of the snow, I will give them a snow day!  I am pretty sure that I am safe on that call. :-) The public school almost NEVER has a snow day!

I will wait for another post to tell you about our trip to "Paris" for tea!  So many memories!

My Mother's Gentle Love

My Mother's Gentle Love
by Ron Hamilton
Who puts a band-aid on my knee?
Who holds me close so tenderly?
Who always sees the best in me?
There’s no one like mother.

Who always wipes my tears away?
Who tells me I’ll be great some day?
Who cares in such a gentle way?
There’s no one like mother.

My mother’s gentle love, my mother’s gentle love
Has taught me of God’s tender care, and turned my eyes above.
I’ll bless her all my days for all her gentle ways.
Oh, how I thank my Lord above for my mother’s gentle love.

Today is my mother's viewing, and tomorrow is her funeral.  The song above so much describes my mom.  She loved her four children so very much!  Before she had children, she was a nurse for "special care" babies~~"old" term for NICU.  Once she started having children she gave up her career to stay at home and raise her own babies. Thanks, Mom!

Thank you, Daddy, for allowing Mom to stay at home and raise us four children!

Graduation 2017 Post

Sad Turned Happy

Six years ago today my family's heart was broken by the death of my mother.  Today turned happy because Grandbaby number 11 was born!  Grandson W was born at 12:38 pm, weighing 8 pounds 15 ounces, and 22 1/2 inches long!  Daughter #1 and babe are doing well!!!!! (pictures will follow later once the parents have a chance to brag on their own!!!)
