Mother's Day

So, tomorrow is Mother's Day.  My mom is spending Mother's Day with Jesus.  I have no mother to call and wish a Happy Mother's Day.  That is going to be really hard tomorrow.  But..I spent the day with my little sister!  We had a good time.  We ate at a local chain resturant, went to the educational store, children's resale shop and the a local beauty supply store.  The best part...we remembered Mom!  We smiled and held back tears.  We laughed and tried not to cry...guess we will do that in private when our heads hit the pillow tonight.

Tomorrow I will spend the day at church and then lunch with the majority of my children.  I will be queen for the moment and return to my normal duties by the end of the day.  That's fine with me.  You see, I am the mom.  "Mother of Miracles", "Mean ol' Mom", what have you.  My job title has ups and downs.  I love it, they love it.  We are the perfect fitted pieces to our family puzzle!

Life....

Busy.  That seems to describe life in our home.  Just day to day busy.  Nothing really noteworthy.  Life moves on.   Let me think, since I last posted.... well, let me back up to about a month before my last post.  Daughter #6 got married in October of 2022...today Son #7 got married.  So, I have gained another son and another daughter! Our youngest graduated from high school in May and our oldest grandchild graduated the following day!  From our oldest child to our youngest, we have 33 years of education. (I'm tired just thinking about it!!) Still only 13 grandchildren.  Hubby is still in education.  I keep things going on the home front.  I help out the families where and when needed.  I still make cards for the card ministry that I have been doing for 19 years.  I still crochet.   That about sums up life at this point.  Have a wonderful day!

Newest Grandbaby

  The newest member to join the Chilson Family!   Grandson K  April 21, 2013 8 pounds 14 ounces 21 1/4 inches long Proud parents for the very first time are Son #3 and Daughter-in-love #3   EDIT NOTED: This page was edited on 12/31/13 with names and photo removed.  It was brought to my attention by a DIL. Originally I had given names ONLY because full names are used on their Facebook page. Forgive me for being "stupid".   Excited to have a new little one to love on and watch become a personality all his own!
