Birthday Pictures

Yesterday Daughter #6 turned eleven. 
What does a girl of eleven want? 
Well, this girl wanted something that really surprised me!

 The white package is a bag of Butterfingers.
Each family member gets a package of theirfavorite candy.
 (Even if we have to mail the candy
and the postage cost twice as much as the candy!)

Tada!  A NERF double sword!

Ready for action!

Each birthday person gets their choice of dessert.
Daughter #6 loves eclaire cake!


I was surprised she really wanted a NERF double sword. 
But she does have older brothers and even the sisters
like to get into the action!
(She asked for a real horse and we thought
this was a better, less expensive choice!)

I guess you are only elven once!
Maybe one day she will be the
fair maiden on the horse
 instead of being in the
heat of the battle!

Life....

Busy.  That seems to describe life in our home.  Just day to day busy.  Nothing really noteworthy.  Life moves on.   Let me think, since I last posted.... well, let me back up to about a month before my last post.  Daughter #6 got married in October of 2022...today Son #7 got married.  So, I have gained another son and another daughter! Our youngest graduated from high school in May and our oldest grandchild graduated the following day!  From our oldest child to our youngest, we have 33 years of education. (I'm tired just thinking about it!!) Still only 13 grandchildren.  Hubby is still in education.  I keep things going on the home front.  I help out the families where and when needed.  I still make cards for the card ministry that I have been doing for 19 years.  I still crochet.   That about sums up life at this point.  Have a wonderful day!

Newest Grandbaby

  The newest member to join the Chilson Family!   Grandson K  April 21, 2013 8 pounds 14 ounces 21 1/4 inches long Proud parents for the very first time are Son #3 and Daughter-in-love #3   EDIT NOTED: This page was edited on 12/31/13 with names and photo removed.  It was brought to my attention by a DIL. Originally I had given names ONLY because full names are used on their Facebook page. Forgive me for being "stupid".   Excited to have a new little one to love on and watch become a personality all his own!
