Life is Sweet!

Hubby had a deacon's meeting yesterday afternoon.  So the nesters and I dropped him off at church and went to Wal-Mart to finish up the last minute shopping for our three campers who are off to middle camp this week.  Got to have those necessities...snacks!  While heading to the check out, "check out" what we found!


 
 
 
TWINKIES!!!  YES!  Quoting Son #3, "Looking good my fluffy, yellow friend!"  It was one of three boxes left! *smile*  These type of snacks are not a staple in our home, so it is truly a treat when we get them! 
 
One of the plants is just a hop, skip and maybe two jumps from Hubby's work!  Although I believe that Twinkie is not out of this plant, only the Gem-mini donuts and Mini muffins are for now!  (Maybe, just maybe the Hostess Thrift Store will make a come back also!)

As for camp snacks, the Twinkies were never part of the shopping list.  It was a special treat for the family and the box made it home with only the wrappers inside!  YUM!

Life....

Busy.  That seems to describe life in our home.  Just day to day busy.  Nothing really noteworthy.  Life moves on.   Let me think, since I last posted.... well, let me back up to about a month before my last post.  Daughter #6 got married in October of 2022...today Son #7 got married.  So, I have gained another son and another daughter! Our youngest graduated from high school in May and our oldest grandchild graduated the following day!  From our oldest child to our youngest, we have 33 years of education. (I'm tired just thinking about it!!) Still only 13 grandchildren.  Hubby is still in education.  I keep things going on the home front.  I help out the families where and when needed.  I still make cards for the card ministry that I have been doing for 19 years.  I still crochet.   That about sums up life at this point.  Have a wonderful day!

Newest Grandbaby

  The newest member to join the Chilson Family!   Grandson K  April 21, 2013 8 pounds 14 ounces 21 1/4 inches long Proud parents for the very first time are Son #3 and Daughter-in-love #3   EDIT NOTED: This page was edited on 12/31/13 with names and photo removed.  It was brought to my attention by a DIL. Originally I had given names ONLY because full names are used on their Facebook page. Forgive me for being "stupid".   Excited to have a new little one to love on and watch become a personality all his own!
