Easy Thursday

The day has been a quiet one...sort of.  Usual day with home school, unless you get to go to the library!  We had 3 scholars who needed books for book reports.  It seems as of late it takes forever to get books that we order from the library website.  Okay, it does not count when you are almost 13, and order a book that has just come out...patron in waiting number 139 out of the 202 on the list!  Of course, there are only about 25 books available and each with a 21 day loan!   So we had to go to 2 different branches to get 3 books that were on the shelf so no one gets behind!  Of course, it had to become a field trip to a couple of the younger ones!  

So, I guess going to the library was the high light  of our day.  Now tomorrow will be different.  We have one who has to be at the doctor at 8:25!  EWWW!  I have to fight rush hour traffic going towards downtown!!!  Youth meeting is tomorrow evening, so the day will fly by quickly!

By the way, "no blessings, no burdens" in the mail, and NO remarks!  I just rested in the peace that God is in control and still rules from His throne!

Life....

Busy.  That seems to describe life in our home.  Just day to day busy.  Nothing really noteworthy.  Life moves on.   Let me think, since I last posted.... well, let me back up to about a month before my last post.  Daughter #6 got married in October of 2022...today Son #7 got married.  So, I have gained another son and another daughter! Our youngest graduated from high school in May and our oldest grandchild graduated the following day!  From our oldest child to our youngest, we have 33 years of education. (I'm tired just thinking about it!!) Still only 13 grandchildren.  Hubby is still in education.  I keep things going on the home front.  I help out the families where and when needed.  I still make cards for the card ministry that I have been doing for 19 years.  I still crochet.   That about sums up life at this point.  Have a wonderful day!

Newest Grandbaby

  The newest member to join the Chilson Family!   Grandson K  April 21, 2013 8 pounds 14 ounces 21 1/4 inches long Proud parents for the very first time are Son #3 and Daughter-in-love #3   EDIT NOTED: This page was edited on 12/31/13 with names and photo removed.  It was brought to my attention by a DIL. Originally I had given names ONLY because full names are used on their Facebook page. Forgive me for being "stupid".   Excited to have a new little one to love on and watch become a personality all his own!
