Monday, Monday, Monday!!

You never know what a day will bring. We got up this morning around 6:15 to find out someone hit our van during the night! Since we have only street parking, some vehicles get a little "cozy" when going down the street. With this van, we have had more than our share of marks down the drivers side. We have even been swiped by two school buses! BUT....this one takes the cake! No buffing these marks out, no sir! We have a nice dent and TEAR in the drivers front fender! Of course it also pulled out the yellow "lamp" light. But the good news is it is only a "thing", not a life. It can be fixed. God is good even when things "look" bad. It may have surprised us, but not Him.

We had a good day schooling! One of our scholars had school underway by 7:15 and another by 7:30. All the others were in place and going by 8. Besides a moan or two, exams and quizzes went well.

God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!

Life....

Busy. That seems to describe life in our home. Just day to day busy. Nothing really noteworthy. Life moves on. Let me think, since I last posted.... well, let me back up to about a month before my last post. Daughter #6 got married in October of 2022...today Son #7 got married. So, I have gained another son and another daughter! Our youngest graduated from high school in May and our oldest grandchild graduated the following day! From our oldest child to our youngest, we have 33 years of education. (I'm tired just thinking about it!!) Still only 13 grandchildren. Hubby is still in education. I keep things going on the home front. I help out the families where and when needed. I still make cards for the card ministry that I have been doing for 19 years. I still crochet. That about sums up life at this point. Have a wonderful day!

The newest member to join the Chilson Family! Grandson K April 21, 2013 8 pounds 14 ounces 21 1/4 inches long Proud parents for the very first time are Son #3 and Daughter-in-love #3 EDIT NOTED: This page was edited on 12/31/13 with names and photo removed. It was brought to my attention by a DIL. Originally I had given names ONLY because full names are used on their Facebook page. Forgive me for being "stupid". Excited to have a new little one to love on and watch become a personality all his own!
